Vu Residence

Tri T Vu designed his family’s Arlington residence located in Jacksonville, Florida. This 3000 sf residence is situated on a lot dense with vegetation and includes an unusual feature in Florida – a 35 foot slope leading down to a creek. To minimize the disturbance of the local vegetation, an entry bridge and a cantilever slab to the garage was designed. Inside the residence, the upper floor, containing the master suite and public spaces, gives the  sense of being in a treehouse. The lower floors form a connection to the hillside and contain the bedrooms and family rooms.
