TTV Architects led the design and project management of the new Security Vestibule at the East Entry of the Florida State Capitol Tower—a highly complex, high-profile addition that enhances both safety and the visitor experience. The two-story, 2,000 sf structure integrates seamlessly with the existing Capitol Complex architecture while meeting stringent requirements for blast protection, force protection, and ballistic resistance.
TTV’s intensive design and coordination process included detailed site investigations, security analysis, and structural evaluations. The result is a dignified, secure, and efficient entry experience that reflects the significance of the Capitol, its occupants, and its role in Florida’s governance.
