A 120,000 sf Welcome Center and Children’s Building is the most recent addition to the First Baptist Church’s campus. Located in Downtown Jacksonville, FL, this $14 million facility’s innovative design houses a variety of functions including new member areas and an elementary school. The building’s architecture creates a strong presence along Main Street, while a curved form allows for gathering at the building’s opposite side. A collaboration of technology, innovative design and team participation has allowed for a renewed excitement in the First Baptist Church community.
