TTV Architects has recently completed a $4.5 million renovation project of the new Flagler County Sheriff’s Operations Center that is relocated into an existing facility of approximately 35,000SF with area for future expansion. Due to the the neglected state of the existing building, the renovation consisted of both extensive interior and exterior renovations. The new work included: new main entry facade, architectural work and finishes, extensive structural upgrade for code compliant hurricane wind resistance, insulated TPO roof assembly, mechanical, electrical, plumbing & fire protection systems, civil site & landscape upgrades, security/surveillance/electronic access control systems, CSI Lab and garage, ability to accommodate the previously separated departments under one roof, additional parking, training facility double the size of the previous center, incorporated high acoustical/privacy requirements in interview rooms and upgraded the Center to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) codes and requirements.
